Mortar Crack Details
Since repairing the cracks with a matching mortar is NOT addressing the cause of the mortar cracks to appear, and the repair is only cosmetic, a warranty cannot be given other than we guarantee you'll be happy when were finshed. Mortar cracks appear when there has been foundation setttlement. Sometimes the settlement is final, sometimes part of the house "floats" and the other part is stable.( which repairing the cracks tells which is stable or not, and could reduce the cost of foundation work if needed).
